Terrazzo flooring is a time-honored solution, first developed by Venetian marble craftsmen in the 15th century. Traditionally, it combined marble chips with a clay-based binder, poured on site and polished to reveal a striking mosaic of colors. Today, this classic concept has been reimagined using a wide range of aggregates—from marble sourced around the world to crushed glass, mirrors, onyx, and mother of pearl. Paired with advanced binders such as epoxy resins, polymer-modified Portland cement, and specialized hydraulic cements, modern terrazzo offers enhanced performance and limitless design possibilities.

Adaptable, Continuous, and Environmentally Friendly

Terrazzo advanced formulation delivers exceptional versatility, allowing it to be applied in thicknesses from 8 mm to 30 mm—eliminating the need for multiple systems across different applications. It can be finished with a low-grit polish and sealed using topical sealers, or refined up to 3,000 grit to achieve a natural, marble-like gloss.

Performance doesn’t have to come at a premium. Terrazzo provides a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to epoxy terrazzo, while remaining suitable for both interior and exterior use.
